"I have used the sample blade on oak and some other less dense woods, and polycarbonate sheet. The oak was inside the back of a kitchen cabinet and I tested both the Falx and a Porter Cable blade with flat front. The Falx was amazingly quick, did not generate heat, and was a more controllable cut than the Porter Cable blade. The round front was amazing, as the flat front of the other brand dug into the surrounding cabinetry. Cutting thin polycarbonate sheet for a picture frame and other woods was easy for the blade and it did not heat up either. Nothing annoyed me about the blades at all, I would be excited to see a narrow version as well, maybe around 10mm wide for detail work."
